What is Nordic Walking?

Nordic Walking is a full-body workout that uses specially designed poles to enhance your natural walking experience. Originating from cross-country skiing, this form of exercise engages your upper body muscles, turning a simple walk into a highly effective workout. Unlike traditional walking, Nordic Walking provides a low-impact, high-reward exercise that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Participated in an introductory class this morning in St Dominic’s Park and I absolutely loved it! It’s a really enjoyable way to get full body workout, with as little or as much effort as is comfortable with whatever niggles and jiggles you have!
